Vitalik Buterin: The AI era needs encrypted privacy mechanisms to protect API access patterns

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that with the proliferation of AI agents, users expose a large amount of behavioral data when making searches or API calls, necessitating the protection of access pattern information through encrypted privacy technologies. He pointed out that privacy networks such as Mixnet can hide the source of requests, but this needs to be combined with anti-DoS mechanisms and a pay-per-call model; otherwise, service providers will struggle to handle the traffic pressure.
