BitMEX Founder Arthur Hayes Reveals When He Will Start Buying Bitcoin (BTC) Again! He Shared His Price Expectations!

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, known for his bold statements about Bitcoin ($BTC) and the cryptocurrency market, said he would not invest in Bitcoin until the FED starts printing money.

Speaking on the Coin Stories podcast on YouTube, Arthur Hayes said he would not invest a single dollar in Bitcoin until the US Federal Reserve (FED) starts printing money.

At this point, Hayes stated that the longer the war in Iran lasts, the greater the likelihood that the Fed will print money.

He cited the Federal Reserve’s monetary easing policy as the primary driving force behind Bitcoin’s rise.

Hayes, who stated that the FED would buy Bitcoin when it starts printing money again, said, “The war itself is not good for Bitcoin. However, ultimately, increased liquidity is positive for Bitcoin.”

“If I had to invest $1 right now, would I invest it in Bitcoin? My answer would be ‘no’. For now, waiting is the right thing to do. I’ll buy Bitcoin when the central bank starts printing money.”

Hayes stated that he was not sure whether Bitcoin’s price had reached its bottom, and warned that ongoing geopolitical tensions could push the $BTC price even lower.

“I think the longer the war between the US and Iran lasts, the more likely we could see a major sell-off in stocks and Bitcoin.”

Hayes added that a prolonged conflict could cause Bitcoin to fall below $60,000, triggering a massive liquidation wave.
