A couple in their 50s living near Paris opened their door one morning to find three men posing as police officers. These masked men stormed into their home, threatened the woman with weapons, and forced the husband to transfer cryptocurrency. Under pressure, the husband transferred approximately €900,000 worth of Bitcoin to their wallets. The perpetrators then fled in a white van. The couple later managed to free themselves and called the police. The incident is currently under investigation. This incident is part of a wave of kidnappings and robberies targeting cryptocurrency owners in France.
