City Protocol announced the launch of City Rewards through its official X channel on the 25th of last month, and announced the start of its first 'Genesis Campaign' with a City Protocol (CP) token prize pool of up to $20,000 (KRW 29.57 million).
City Rewards is a comprehensive rewards dashboard within the Coinbase-led Basechain that transparently tracks users' contributions to the ecosystem and converts them into actual capital. It is an evolutionary step forward from "Viral City," a short-form content creation hub powered by existing AI video production technology.
The core mechanism consists of "Mindshare," where AI quantitatively evaluates users' actual communication and activity value, and the "Earn" system, where actual project rewards are awarded based on these scores. It is evaluated as overcoming the limitations of the existing airdrop market, which is rife with multi-account bots and meaningless clicks, and implementing a "C2E (Create to Earn)" ecosystem that focuses rewards on genuine users who create true value.
The Genesis Campaign, which runs until the 13th, features a community-based, collaborative rewards structure, with a prize pool of up to $20,000 unlocked in stages based on the overall Mindshare achievement rate of all participants. Prizes will be unlocked sequentially based on achievement rates of +5%, +10%, and +15%.
Users can easily participate through a mini-app within the official Base app, and the contribution earned will serve as a key airdrop allocation criterion for the upcoming City Protocol (CP) token listing (TGE). In particular, all activity is recorded as an on-chain history on the Base chain, providing a "double airdrop" opportunity for additional rewards from the Base ecosystem in the future, garnering attention from the global cryptocurrency market.
