Here is the logic hole that Muslim sympathizers have with this line of thinking. The only context that matters is- "Are the scriptures motivating Muslims to kill innocent people because they believe they are promised 72 virgins in paradise?" That is the ONLY context that matters. As it turns out, this is unequivocally happening. At scale. DOZENS of radical Muslims have committed terrorist acts explicitly because the scriptures told them to, and if they did, they would get 72 virgins in paradise. The Quran/Hadith scriptures have been, and continue to be (literally two today), major motivating factors for terrorism. Now, there are mainstream Muslims that say, "noooo all those radical Muslims committing terrorism are interpreting the scriptures wrong. They are "doing Jihad" incorrectly when they murder innocents." But this does not matter. Because Jihad is all over the scriptures and the terrorists are CITING THE SCRIPTURES as their motivation to commit terror. I will give you a very clear hypothetical to drive the point home- Let's take all the Catholic priests (and many Protestant clergy) r*ping children. Abhorrent. One of the worst things to ever happen. Definitely comparable to terrorist acts committed by jihadists. Now imagine there were ALL these verses in the Gospel where Jesus told people to r*pe children. Like a couple dozen verses. And then imagine all the priests are like "I r*ped these children because these verses in the Gospel told me it's a good thing to do, and if I do it, I get 72 virgins in paradise". And then imagine all these mainstream Christians were like, "noooo the priests misinterpreted the verses! That not what they actually mean, and here are some verses that seem to contradict ALL these verses saying to r*pe children". Except the verses are RIGHT THERE and the priests are TELLING you those verses are why they did what they did. See what I mean?

Have you read all these verses in context?
