PANews reported on March 14 that Strategy founder Michael Saylor tweeted an explanation of the simple theory behind digital lending:
1. Acquire substantial amounts of capital (Bitcoin).
2. Issue credit (STRC) with the capital as collateral and use equity as over-collateral.
3. Realize a portion of the increased value – either directly or through derivatives (MSTRs) – to pay dividends.
