My dad has been growing these on his farm recently. A few interesting things: - They're basically a tropical fruit that's native to North America - They're pollinated by flies and beetles - They travel horribly, which is why most people have never heard of them

If you live in the eastern US, a close relative of the cherimoya grows wild all over, the pawpaw. In a creek valley it can be every 3rd tree in the forest. Harvest in September. x.com/quinncoherent/…
