On March 19, Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, stated, "We are joining the ranks of companies that are integrating artificial intelligence (AI) across the entire company. Companies that do not complete this transformation immediately will fail, and those that move slowly will be eliminated. Those that act quickly and combine state-of-the-art AI tools with top-notch employees will achieve scale and efficiency that were previously unimaginable. This is the direction we must move in."
As part of this transformation, we also implemented targeted layoffs of approximately 12% of our workforce, affecting those who were unable to adapt to the new environment. All affected employees have been notified and are receiving the necessary resources to support their transition. We are deeply grateful for the contributions of our departing colleagues.
