In the "pig butchering scam" industry, fraudsters need a large amount of audio and text to assist in their fraudulent activities. This audio and text includes, but is not limited to, character settings, scripts, dialogue content, landscape photos, and portrait photos. Fraud practitioners call it "materials".

In the past few years, the rapidly expanding telecommunications fraud industry has created a huge demand for materials, so much so that there is a need for dedicated personnel to collect or create fraud materials. However, with the current explosion of large language models, this task has gradually been performed by AI tools.
This article aims to illustrate this threat by disclosing the business models and blockchain address activities of specific "software building" service providers.
Material Provider
Taking character creation as an example, fraudsters need to use a large number of photos and texts to create the illusion of a refined lifestyle or wealthy identity in order to deceive their target victims.

The images above are from three Telegram content channels. Please note that these are not ordinary landscape photos, but rather materials specifically provided to telecom fraud perpetrators. These photos are often accompanied by matching captions, making it easy for fraudsters to copy and share them on social media.

In addition to social media content, these communities also provide scripts for everyday conversations and enticements to lure victims into "investment" schemes. As shown in the image above, one community offers numerous script tutorials, including but not limited to how to date victims in specific countries, the main investment methods in various countries, and how to subtly lead victims into scams.
These kinds of communities are ubiquitous on Telegram and are updated frequently every day.
Dark AI as a Service
Even with such a wealth of materials available, this method of providing materials still cannot solve the problems of fraudsters' rigid grammar, inability to adapt to changing situations, and high manual costs in online chat. Large language models, however, effectively compensate for this shortcoming, and some traditional application development service providers are already transforming themselves to provide this type of Dark AI service to the fraud industry.
A typical business model involves attracting the attention of black and gray market practitioners by establishing public communities to offer free aggregated AI services, thereby guiding them to purchase paid computing power packages, black and gray market business robots, malware building services, and so on.

Taking a service provider called Quantum Technology's public community as an example, a large number of black market operators directly use the service provider's community bots to generate fraudulent materials. As shown in the image above, fraudsters successfully fabricated the identity of a wealthy divorced woman in London, England, and used this identity to conduct cross-language conversations with potential victims under the guidance of AI.
According to the service provider's community announcement, a higher level of chat access can be obtained through a paid subscription, with fees ranging from 9 USDT to 159 USDT per month depending on the VIP level.

The service provider also offers Telegram social media bot services and customized development. According to its official website, these bots are often used for illegal cryptocurrency transaction guarantees, illegal online gambling, fraud, and other businesses.
Cryptocurrency funding threats
Quantum Technology's services and products are paid for using the cryptocurrency USDT. Payment through its BOT test order can obtain multiple major receiving wallet addresses.

Data analysis shows that 18% of the USDT received by this service provider for its paid AI aggregation services comes from Huionepay, a sanctioned crypto payment tool, as well as other merchants in illegal cryptocurrency trading groups. This funding source composition indicates that its main clients are practitioners in the black and gray market.

After including addresses for software development, customized gambling robots, and illegal cryptocurrency exchange in the statistics, it can be seen that the service provider's business scale is increasing month by month, and it collected at least 22 million USDT between January 2024 and March 2026.
