According to Foresight News , the Algorand Foundation and Algorand Technologies have announced an agreement to integrate Algorand Technologies' intellectual property and development and support activities for the Algorand protocol into the Algorand Foundation. Under the agreement, the Algorand Foundation will commit at least $15 million to the technical maintenance, enhancement, and support of the Algorand protocol.
The Algorand Foundation stated that this integration marks the completion of its transition to a unified US headquarters structure, with social media accounts and marketing assets also being transferred to the foundation. Previously, the foundation had moved its global headquarters to Delaware and completed the appointment of its new board of directors.
