According to BlockBeats, on March 25, Interactive Brokers announced that it now supports clients transferring existing crypto assets (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.) directly from external wallets or platforms to their associated crypto accounts without having to sell the assets beforehand.
This feature enables users to manage crypto assets alongside traditional assets such as stocks, options, futures, foreign exchange, and bonds on a single platform, achieving more efficient cross-market allocation.
In terms of fees, Interactive Brokers offers crypto trading services through Paxos or Zero Hash with fees ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% of the transaction amount, with a minimum of $1.75 per transaction, and no additional spreads or markups. This is significantly lower than the fees of up to about 2% charged by some crypto platforms.
This feature is currently available to eligible clients of Interactive Brokers LLC and Interactive Brokers (UK) Limited, with specific support areas varying by region.
