If this is true, and the @ethereumfndn is really forcing everyone at the EF to choose between signing up for "The Mandate" or to leave then I really don't know what to say ...
It would be authoritarian, utterly shameful and disgusting.

Well, I do know for sure that EFers are being asked by their employer to sign a mission statement or leave with severance. I think that's normal and I feel like I can have an opinion on that.
I don't know about the other nonproductive people etc. context.
