Guangzhou aims to attract and cultivate 10,000 "AI+" related enterprises by 2030, including 1-2 leading enterprises with revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan.

According to Mars Finance on March 26, the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry in Guangzhou" has been issued. The plan aims to achieve six key goals by 2027: establishing a policy mechanism to encourage continuous AI innovation; building a number of AI common technology service centers that effectively drive industry applications; launching a number of technologically advanced AI application breakthroughs and distinctive AI application demonstrations; attracting and cultivating a group of innovative AI enterprises that strengthen, supplement, and extend the industry chain; attracting a group of compound talents who understand both technology and industry; and optimizing an industrial ecosystem suitable for investment and entrepreneurship in the AI field. The plan also aims to achieve widespread and deep integration of artificial intelligence with industry, consumption, people's livelihood, and governance, with the application penetration rate of next-generation smart terminals and intelligent agents exceeding 70%. By 2030, Guangzhou aims to fully leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to drive high-quality development, with over 90% adoption of next-generation smart terminals and intelligent agents. The smart economy will become a significant growth engine for the city's economy. The city strives to achieve the "ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand" goals: creating an AI ecosystem value park; forming an AI industry application demonstration zone and a new smart terminal cluster; constructing 10 common technology service platforms for AI industry applications (including AI pilot production bases and empowerment centers); developing 100 large-scale vertically segmented models with market competitiveness and industry promotion; creating 1,000 AI scenario application demonstrations; attracting and cultivating 10,000 "AI+" related enterprises, including 1-2 leading enterprises with revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan and 2-3 smart terminal products with sales ranking among the top in the country; and striving to form a trillion-yuan-level industrial ecosystem for the core AI industry and related industry applications, making Guangzhou a globally influential capital of vertical models.
