The risk is real. And devs think that they just need to fix it before the day arrives. That's wrong. Big institutions are watching what's happening now. If they don't see the Crypto industry (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc) fixing this soon, or at least dedicating a big effort to it, they are not gonna deploy capital today. They wanna make sure where they go. And they will not only not deploy more capital, but start removing it.
