I'm going to delete these metrics from my website. They are just too poorly understood, and folks just get their interpretation wrong every time (they are also useless metrics in the first place).
Its ETFs and exchanges guys, wallet shuffling.
RE Coinbase, I only entity adjust metrics in the spent domain (Realised profit/loss etc). Unspent metrics like supply are too difficult as it affects all supply moving forwards (beyond the day of the spend).

Thanks for highlighting, I have been wanting to eliminate those pain in the ass charts for a while, and this was the motivation.
