SAO PAULO, April 2 (Reuters) - Brazil oil regulator ANP said on Thursday it has kicked off an inspection into state-run oil firm Petrobras' auctions of liquefied petroleum gas, citing suspicions of price gouging. The announcement comes after Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said earlier in the day that he would seek to annul an auction at which Petrobras sold LPG at prices he described as too high due to the war in Iran.
