The edgeX Founder has written a lengthy message to share with you. First of all, we would like to thank the Korean community for their interest, discussions, and feedback over the past few days. We were handling many tasks simultaneously, and as a result, our response was not prompt enough. We sincerely apologize for this. Today, we would like to directly answer the questions the community is most curious about. 1. Regarding the 14.16% Token Supply This supply was allocated to market-making partners and large Vault LPs who participated from the Point Season through the XP Season. To be clear, this 14.16% comes from the entire 30% incentive pool. In any Puff DEX, market makers and Vault LPs are part of the ecosystem, and edgeX is no exception. 2. Why were these addresses claimed and locked up at the time of the TGE? The supply held by these partners was never originally intended to be distributed to the market at the time of the TGE, and they also intended to support EDGE through long-term holding. However, for EDGE to be listed on a CEX, the platform required the disclosure of the circulating supply and recommended a minimum one-year lockup to mitigate actual selling pressure on the day of the TGE. Therefore, we completed the on-chain claim first, and then executed the lockup. 3. Why We Listed on a Centralized Exchange If EDGE were traded only on edgeX, most buying, selling, and trading rotation would still be confined to existing platform users. Listing on more exchanges means more holders, more traders, and broader liquidity. Given the current market conditions, we want EDGE to expand beyond its existing user base. 4. Regarding the Buyback Address Currently, the buyback is being completed within the trading system, and the purchased tokens are subsequently transferred to a multisig wallet for management purposes. Since EDGE was originally issued on Ethereum, what you are currently seeing is primarily the record on Etherscan. In any case, you can see that the balance in the main contract is decreasing, while the balance in the buyback wallet is increasing. The tokens repurchased in this way will be processed later according to the results of the community vote. 5. Why the 50M of Treasury has not yet been fully used Currently, the scale of the buyback is still relatively small, and the fee revenue from the spot account has also not yet been fully utilized. We are currently using that revenue to proceed with the buyback, and Treasury funds will continue to be used thereafter. 6. Regarding Sodam Sodam is a team member, but she is not the person responsible for point distribution. I have witnessed the attacks and threats directed at her, and it was very heartbreaking. I ask that you refrain from harassing a team member who bears no direct responsibility. If you have any questions regarding distribution, buyback, or lock-up, please speak to me directly. 7. Regarding the Distribution Controversy We acknowledge that our information disclosure was not sufficiently clear or transparent, and this is an area that must be improved. During the actual distribution process, referral points and Vault points were given lower weight than points earned through direct trading. At the same time, we did not reduce all low-quality participation to zero. However, regardless of that, it is our responsibility that these rules were not communicated sufficiently clearly. If the final allocation value you received does not even cover the fees you actually paid, please send me a direct message. I will review each case individually. 8. Regarding Expectations and Market Performance I am well aware that many of you had high expectations for edgeX. However, the current market environment is bearish, and around the TGE, we had to make various choices between lower circulating supply, stronger price defense, and wider distribution. This does not mean that all our decisions were perfect, but they were realistic decisions made in the context of actual market conditions. 9. Regarding Future Plans The team will continue to build, and we will provide more explanations where necessary. We apologize if you are disappointed. Nevertheless, if you are willing to continue watching edgeX, we will prove ourselves through action. And as I mentioned before, if the value of your airdrop is lower than the fees you actually paid, please contact me directly.
