On April 10th, World announced that as of April 10th, 2026, the total supply of WLD would be 10 billion, of which 4.9 billion (49%) had been unlocked, and approximately 3.3 billion were in circulation. At the time of its launch on July 24th, 2023, 500 million WLD were unlocked from the World Community allocation. The remaining 9.5 billion were put into a continuous daily linear unlocking mechanism, and will eventually be fully unlocked 15 years after launch.
Due to the locking mechanism, starting from July 24, 2026, the unlocking speed of various tokens will automatically decrease:
• Community Tokens: The unlocking speed will be reduced by 50%, from 3.2 million tokens per day to 1.6 million tokens per day, based on immutable on-chain contracts.
• TFH Investor and Team Tokens: The unlocking speed will be reduced by 32%, from 1.9 million tokens per day to 1.3 million tokens per day.
Overall, the total unlocking rate of all tokens will decrease by 43%, from approximately 5.1 million WLD per day to approximately 2.9 million WLD per day.
