According to ChainCatcher, Trump posted on Truth Social that the meeting went well and most of the issues were agreed upon, but the only truly important issue—the nuclear issue—remained unresolved.
Effective immediately, the world's most elite U.S. Navy will begin blockading all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. We will eventually achieve a situation where "all ships can enter and exit," but Iran is obstructing this process under the pretext that "there may be mines somewhere," mines known only to themselves. This is global blackmail, and world leaders, especially U.S. leaders, will never succumb to such blackmail.
I have instructed the navy to search for and intercept all vessels paying passage fees to Iran in international waters. Anyone illegally paying fees will be unable to pass safely on the high seas. We will also begin destroying the mines Iran has laid in the Straits. Any Iranian who dares to fire on us or our peaceful vessels will be blown to bits! Iran knows better than anyone how to end this crisis that has devastated their country.
