Mars Finance reports that Aave has released an update on the rsETH security incident on its X platform. The company disclosed that it has suspended rsETH reserve operations on the Ethereum mainnet and networks such as Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea to prevent the withdrawal of excess aETH rsETH, which could push the position close to the 95% liquidation threshold. This measure aims to preserve as much capital as possible and reduce systemic risk during the asset recovery process. Aave stated that it will continue to disclose further developments and solutions to the community.
