The THORChain cross-chain liquidation protocol appears to have been hacked on at least four major networks, with the amount of funds stolen exceeding $10 million, according to an investigation by on-chain expert ZachXBT.

In a Telegram announcement on Friday, ZachXBT stated that THORChain may have been compromised across the Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base networks. ZachXBT specified three addresses that received the stolen funds:

- 0xd477b69551f49c0519f9b18c55030676138890bd
THORChain has temporarily halted trading following suspected mining activity . This news has also significantly impacted the price of RUNE. Market data shows that this altcoin has fallen by more than 6% since ZachXBT issued its initial warning. At the time of writing, RUNE is trading around $0.50.
