Starlink Engineer, Grock Manager
Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI has recruited a key engineer from SpaceX's Starlink division. According to an internal memo on the 9th, xAI appointed Jack Garabedian as the head of the Grok chatbot model training team.
Garabedian worked as a project engineer for the Starlink satellite internet service at SpaceX since 2021. He leads the Human Data Team at XAI.

The Human Data Team consists of hundreds of experts. They train Grok AI models in various fields, such as finance and science.
Existing team leader Diego Pasini stepped down from his position as a result of this personnel change. Neither Pasini nor Garabedian responded to requests for comment, and spokespersons for SpaceX and XAI also declined to comment.
Internal workforce reallocation within the Musk group
This personnel change is a strategic move of personnel within Musk's corporate ecosystem. It strengthens the competitiveness of AI chatbots by deploying proven engineers from SpaceX to XAI.
