SpaceX is expected to pay approximately $500 million in underwriting fees for the IPO, equivalent to 0.7% of its $75 billion fundraising target.
This information is contained in management documents and sources familiar with the matter. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, the two leading bidders, are expected to receive the largest share of the fee, totaling 40%.
Each of these two banks is expected to receive around $100 million. Bank of America, Citigroup, and JPMorgan Chase are projected to receive approximately $75 million each.
Some other banks are reportedly only receiving around $10 million or less. No further details are currently available regarding the timing of the offering or other terms of the transaction.
