Vance stated on ABC television, "We signed the agreement electronically yesterday, and there are currently no funds released. That will not change." Although there were speculations about an electronic signing process before the agreement was reached, this has only now been confirmed. Trump announced on Sunday that the two sides would hold a formal signing ceremony in Switzerland on Friday.
