The Mixin Network blockchain project was recently hacked with a loss of 200 million USD.
Specifically, SlowMist revealed that Mixin Network's database was attacked on September 23 and caused damage of up to 200 million USD. They also announced that they are assisting Mixin in investigating this attack.

After receiving a report from SlowMist, Mixin Network immediately notified users about the attack that occurred on September 23. In this announcement, Mixin Network said:
“After discussion and consensus among nodes, these services will be reopened immediately after the security vulnerabilities have been identified and patched. During this time, remittances are not affected.”
In the immediate future, Mixin has temporarily stopped deposits and withdrawals to protect user assets. The project also said that founder Feng Xiaodong will explain in more detail about the attack during the livestream taking place today, September 25. At the same time, Mixin also pledged to compensate affected users.

Mixin Network is a platform that provides cryptocurrency wallet solutions with the ability to trade digital assets. This project currently supports 48 public blockchains with total assets exceeding $1 billion. Mixin is invested and promoted by famous KOL Li Xiaolai in China.
Following the attack, the project's XIN Token price dropped 8% this morning. In addition, the project's TVL also decreased sharply due to large losses.
This attack also became the most serious hack in the Crypto industry in 2023, surpassing Euler Finance losing $197 million in March or Multichain losing $128 million in July.
