According to Cointelegraph, Uniswap Labs has publicly released an Android mobile wallet application with built-in Swap function on the Google Play Store. Callil Capuozzo, vice president of design at Uniswap Labs, said the new app allows users to swap tokens via DEX within the app, eliminating the need for a separate web browser extension.
Capuozzo said that Uniswap has added support for new languages, now supporting English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, French, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), and added a setting that allows users to view the value of their cryptocurrencies in local currencies. .
The app was released in closed beta on October 12, but this is the first time the Android version is available to the public. The iOS version was released in April.
