Compared with October’s loss of approximately $22 million, the amount of losses increased by more than 15 times in November.
According to Immunefi, cryptocurrency hacking and rug pulls have caused more than $1.75 billion in losses so far this year, involving 296 incidents. What is particularly noteworthy this month is that the focus of crypto attacks has shifted from DeFi platforms to CeFi platforms. In November, CeFi platforms became the main victims, accounting for 53.8% of the total losses, approximately $184.4 million, while DeFi accounted for 46.2%, approximately $158.6 million.
