1. Activity introduction
Mantle Journey is an ecological experience program launched by the EVM-compatible Layer2 network Mantle Network. By participating in the program and experiencing projects in the ecosystem, users can collect corresponding Mantle Journey miles (hereinafter collectively referred to as "MJ Points").
The collected MJ points will be used as token airdrop vouchers in the future. The official has already announced that 25 million $MNT will be used as event rewards. In other words, the more MJ Points you have, the more token rewards you can redeem.
This event consists of multiple seasons. The first Alpha season will end at 23:59 on January 15th (UTC time). Therefore, the remaining time of the event is limited. Users who have not yet participated need to hurry up.
(1) Activity rewards
The reward was initially 20 million $MNT, and then the official added another 5 million $MNT reward.
Among them, 15 million $MNT token rewards will be distributed directly to users in the Alpha stage. Of the remaining 10 million $MNT rewards, half will be reserved for protocol users in subsequent seasons, and half will be given directly to the protocol itself in the event.
(2) Points acquisition
For each Mantle online transaction, you can earn 10 MJ points
For every 500 $MNT or $WMNT held, you can get 1 MJ per day, snapshots will be taken every day
For every 500 US dollars of assets entering the Mantle network, you will receive 1 MJ points (only for ETH, USDC, USDT, wBTC, xETH and xUSD, there will be additional points calculation for cross-chain deposits of $MNT, and the points will not be repeated)
Binding social media accounts, you can get 100 MJ points for each binding, up to 4 (Twitter, Discord, Steam, Github)
Personal information modification, 10 MJ points each time, including username settings and email settings
Snapshot voting, 50 MJ points each time, there is currently no active voting, so this task is temporarily unavailable
Interact with verified cooperation projects, and you can get 20~50 MJ points each time (Biteye's cross-chain bridge Mini Bridge is also included, welcome to experience it)
Invite friends, the inviter can get 200 MJ points, and the invitee can get 100 MJ points (the invitation gives too many points, which is why you must use the invitation code to participate in the event)
For voting rights delegation, you can get 100 MJ points reward for each delegation, and you can get up to 200 points.
Testnet users will be rewarded with MJ points. Up to 500 MJ points can be awarded. Users who have participated in the Mantle testnet interaction before July 7, 2023 will have the opportunity to receive it.
(3) Points inquiry
Points will be updated at the end of the next day at the latest, and users can see their current points in "Profile".

(4) Main operations
Use the invitation code to join the event, cast a digital identity (SBT), use this digital identity to perform a series of operations such as cross-chain, transactions, group LP, and bind social accounts, and obtain corresponding MJ point rewards.
(5) Activity time
Multiple seasons, long-term validity, the latest Alpha season deadline is 23:59 on January 15, 2024 (UTC), that is, 8 am on January 16, Beijing time.
2. Specific operations
The following introduces some operations that are easier to obtain MJ points. You can get more points at basically no cost.
If you want to get more points, you can brush up more cooperation agreements and add interaction records. The overall cost is low, with a single GAS fee around 0.08 U.
(1) Casting digital identity

Open the invitation link above, enter the event homepage, and mint a digital identity (SBT), which is a non-transferable token used to record the user's interactive achievements.
Due to the use of the invitation link, you can directly obtain 100 MJ points, which is a very cost-effective operation compared to depositing and holding $MNT.
Minting SBT requires using $MNT as GAS. If you do not have $MNT in your wallet, in addition to purchasing it through Matcha or Bybit exchange, you can also obtain it through the Mini Bridge cross-chain bridge.

When using Mini Bridge for cross-chain, check the "Exchange $MNT" option at the bottom, and you can exchange 0.0005 ETH in the assets for MNT while transferring the cross-chain ETH assets to the Mantle network. Then go to the DEX of the Mantle ecosystem. Just buy more MNT to complete the interaction.
(2) Social account binding

Bind the above four social accounts. Twitter and DC are usually available to everyone. Steam and Github are not easy to handle. It seems that the historical data of the account will be retrieved. For example, my Steam account may be due to insufficient game time. Didn't pass verification.
Every time the verification is passed, just like casting SBT, you need to receive a voucher, and the handling fee is about 0.2U.

Delegate the $MNT voting rights in the wallet to yourself or others. For example, here we find an address at random, click "Set Delegate", and then click "L2 Delegate" to successfully delegate.
If you also have $MNT on the mainnet, you can also perform a delegation. MNT of the ETH mainnet can be purchased on Uniswap, but with the current GAS 22, the purchase fee of Uniswap is as high as 7~8U, so the delegation of voting rights on the mainnet is not very cost-effective.
You can get 100 MJ points for a successful delegation, and you can get up to 200 MJ points.
(5) Invitation rewards

As mentioned above, users are invited to participate in the Mantle Journey event through the invitation link. After the invitation is successful and SBT is minted, 200 MJ points can be directly obtained, which is very cost-effective.
If you are an influential KOL, using invitation links to earn MJ points is the best way, which is both labor-saving and efficient.

Mantle Journey's activity page lists some officially certified high-quality protocols. Users who interact with these protocols can receive 50 MJ points as a cross-chain reward and 20 MJ points as a staking LP.

Taking iZUMi as an example, first we exchange some $MNT into $WMNT.
(Tips: If you do not do LP tasks and simply brush transaction records, the exchange between $MNT and $WMNT is 1:1, so there will be no exchange wear and tear, only GAS fees)
Next, add liquidity. Here we hold $WMNT and just choose a trading pair with $WMNT.
The price at the top is the current price, that is, 1 $MNT can be exchanged for 0.0002742 $WETH. Since we don’t have $WETH, only $MNT, we enlarge the price range to 0.01~0.02.
That is, when the price of 1 $MNT is 0.01 ETH, we will start to convert $MNT into $WETH. Before that, we only need to invest $WMNT.
After setting the price range, select the $WMNT quantity to be deposited and click Create at the bottom.
After adding it, you can quickly see your LP.

2. Cross-chain
Cross-chaining has been demonstrated at the beginning of the article. There are still some things to pay attention to here.
If you have sufficient funds and the value of ETH assets entering the Mantle network across the chain exceeds $500, you can take a snapshot every day and receive a 1 MJ reward. 1,000 US dollars, then 2 MJ rewards per day, and so on. However, since the event is about to end, there is no time advantage in investing funds now, so it is not recommended.
Use the official cross-chain bridge to cross-chain funds from the ETH mainnet to the Mantle network, and you can get 4 MNT token rewards. However, the mainnet cross-chain itself has higher GAS fees, and the rewards cannot cover the cost. Using the official bridge to cross-chain Users are aware of interaction costs.
