Ozys: Former security chief breached firewall led to Orbit Bridge hack

BlockBeats news, on January 25, according to TheBlock, South Korean blockchain technology company Ozys issued an article stating that its former chief information security officer arbitrarily weakened the company’s firewall before the security breach occurred. The company has filed a damages lawsuit against its former chief information security officer, along with a petition asking local police to investigate the former employee's possible ties to the hack. Ozys alleges that the former security director made several changes to the internal firewall on Nov. 22, two days before the employee requested a voluntary resignation. He allegedly left the company on December 6 without informing the company of changes made to security settings, which Ozys only discovered on January 10.
