On March 12, 2024, Casey officially announced the release of Ord 0.16.0, which added 21 new function points, optimized 19 codes and made several improvements.

2. Casey inscription sub-inscription

On March 14, 2024, Casey used its #0 inscription to inscribe a child inscription #64228106, then used #64228106 as the parent inscription, and continued to inscribe 8 child inscriptions.

Interestingly, the animated picture in the inscription #64228106 seems to be put together from the pictures of these 8 inscriptions. If you randomly capture a frame from the animated picture, it can match one of the 8 pictures.

3. Rune Alpha announces Ordinals Chef lottery rules

Rune Alpha announced the Ordinals Chef lottery rules on March 12, 2024:

1️⃣For every 5,000 $Cook pledged, you can get a lottery ticket.

2️⃣Each lottery ticket has a number, and this number will be seen on the RuneAlpha website at the end of the snapshot. The start and end blocks of the snapshot are currently pending.

3️⃣ Lottery process:

(1) Take the last 8 characters of the hash from the block at the end of the snapshot (which is also the block where the lottery starts), and convert these 8 characters into a decimal number.

(2) The decimal number is the remainder of the total number of draws, which is used as the number drawn, and the number is removed from the lottery list.

(3) Each subsequent lottery will use the last 5 characters of the previous winner's address to be converted into decimal numbers.

(4) Repeat the process of (2).

A total of 333 winners were drawn.
