PANews reported on April 30 that Interactive Brokers announced the launch of Hong Kong spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs) that can be traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Qualified clients of Interactive Brokers Hong Kong can now trade new spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs, as well as stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, funds, etc. through a unified platform. Clients can purchase spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs through their IBKR brokerage accounts and easily add cryptocurrency exposure to their portfolios without directly owning digital assets.
