There were also some mind-blowing predictions. The four guys made some of their most unconventional predictions, which were quite interesting. Chamath made two of the most mind-blowing ones: - SpaceX might not have an IPO, but instead go public through a reverse takeover by Musk (this idea has already been widely analyzed, but remember, it's considered a mind-blowing, unconventional prediction in the program). - Another prediction about cryptocurrency: Chamath believes that central banks will realize some limitations of gold and Bitcoin, and therefore will develop a completely new cryptographic approach (a new currency?). This model would be controllable on their balance sheets, fungible, tradable, and completely secure and private. This new currency would also need to hedge against the potential risks of quantum chips that may emerge in the next five to ten years. Regarding cryptocurrency, Chamath mainly emphasized the importance of privacy: for the sake of national sovereignty, these central banks need to possess an asset that is not easily accessible to others (whether friend or foe).

太长不看的版本就是: x.com/williamlab/sta…

The latest episode of Allin was quite interesting because the four guys made some bold predictions and outlooks for 2026. It was packed with information, and they were all very excited, proudly boasting about how accurate their predictions from last year were. I recommend listening to this episode. Because there's so much information, I only took notes on some of the most crucial predictions, mainly their "2026 winners" section. The TL;DR version: This year's winners will be: Huawei, Polymarket, copper, the IPO market, and Amazon. Specifically: David Friedberg (the "Scientific Sultan" and the show's encyclopedia): - Huawei is the top winner because Huawei is working hard with SMIC on chip technology research, making rapid progress, and its performance will exceed expectations; - Polymarket is another winner because it has evolved from a quirky prediction market into an unexpected platform providing profound insights into current events and news. It's estimated that many traditional financial trading platforms will partner with Polymarket. Chamath Palihapitiya (Founder of Social Capital, the turtleneck sweater-wearing eccentric who recently made a fortune selling his Grog investment) - First choice: himself (actually a joke, because he made a killing at the start of the new year thanks to his Grog investment); - Really bullish on copper: everyone is underestimating the copper shortage (copper is the most useful, cheapest, most compliant, and best conductor we have, used in all sorts of places, from data centers to chips to our weapons systems; it's projected that by 2040, the global supply will be in short supply by about 70%) David Sacks (The Trump administration's AI/crypto czar) - IPOs: He believes 2026 will be a big year for IPOs, with many successful IPOs, and we may see trillions of dollars in new market capitalization created by listed companies. Of course, he didn't forget to flatter his leader: "This is all part of the Trump prosperity." Jason Calacanis (Show host) - Amazon: The continued push to replace humans with robots will make Amazon a big winner. While Amazon's hiring has remained largely unchanged, its robot deployment is surging. Furthermore, Amazon's free cash flow will improve, its AWS business will grow, and more people will use AWS. twitter.com/fishkiller/status/...
