Iran doesn't accept the ceasefire. There's only so long crypto can hold on like this in a bear market year. In the 2022 bear market when Russia attacked Ukraine bitcoin soared, but then went on to hit lower lows in Q4. Watch this space...

The Strait of Hormuz carries roughly 20% of the world's oil supply. Iran has now completely disrupted it and Brent crude surged to $115 this morning. The Fed can't cut its way through a supply shock. And Bitcoin's entire bull case for 2026 was built on rate cuts coming.

It's been 38 consecutive days of Extreme Fear. The last time sentiment remained this low for this long was the Terra/Luna collapse in 2022. It then took another 6 months to find a real bottom.

Bitcoin is already down 52% from its peak. In every prior cycle that would be called a bear market without hesitation. But because it's still above $60k, people are calling it a "healthy correction." Brand it how you like.
