According to @Saylor, Bitcoin is the best performing asset in the world. Yet $MSTR invested over $54 billion in Bitcoin over the past five years, and as of now the company is down about 3% on that investment. I'm sure the losses over the next five years will be much greater!

Trump has falsely positioned Walsh as an independent inflation hawk who will pursue an even tighter monetary policy than Powell. That way, when Walsh does exactly what Trump wants him to do, the markets will assume rate cuts are economically justified, not politically motivated.

Bitcoin pumpers claimed that the coordinated attack on gold and silver would result in money flowing into Bitcoin. Since that rotation didn't happen, Bitcoin is breakdown instead, falling below $80K for the first time since April 2025, following the Liberation Day sell-off.

We are supposed to believe that Trump decided to replace Powell with an inflation hawk who is not only less likely to cut interest rates than Powell, but may well advocate for rate hikes and a resumption of QT to fight inflation and force the federal government to cut spending.

$MSTR closed down 9.5% today, a new 52-week low. The stock is down nearly 70% from its high. @Saylor spent $54 billion over the past five years buying over 712K bitcoin at an average price of just over $76K. His total unrealized gain is less than 11%. Too bad he didn’t buy gold!

In 2017, at its peak of nearly $20k, Bitcoin was worth 14.25 ounces of gold. Today it’s worth 16 ounces. That’s a 12% gain in nine years. Was it worth the risk to beat gold by just 1.3% per year? HODLers will find out the hard way as Bitcoin crashes and gold continues to soar.

Gold is up over $100, trading above $5,085. Silver is up over $5, trading above $108.25, both at new record highs. Most people are clueless about what this means and are in for quite a shock. Those of us who understand have been expecting the economic crisis that’s about to hit.

If your financial advisor has you overinvested in U.S. stocks or bonds, underexposed to foreign stocks, sitting on lots of cash, holding any Bitcoin, or lacking exposure to physical precious metals and mining stocks, then it’s time to hire a new advisor.

It’s going to be very frustrating and unfortunate for Bitcoin HODLers, who actually bought Bitcoin for the same reasons I bought gold and silver, to see all the economic forecasts we had in common come true, but to end up losing more money than people who did nothing to prepare.

It’s another Sunday night where the most exciting action isn’t on the football field but in the precious metals market, with both gold and silver surging to new record highs. Of course, Bitcoin is moving too—just in the opposite direction, down nearly 3%.
