Conversely, if you attempt to sell the top you also run the risk of being too eager to keep shorting and making it your personality. There’s a graveyard full of permabears from 2017-2020 who made some money but ultimately left the space because they shorted well.

In my experience, I've found that it is often more dangerous to sell the top than to sell on the way down. This is because the euphoria associated with selling the top can lead to early rebidding as well as a sense of overconfidence. I suspect Garrett having made 9 figs on x.com/Jackyi_ld/stat…

The only bet I can and will consistently make is that during his tenure, President Trump will do everything in his power to keep SPX up.

I will, in the optimistic case, never tweet about this again. But two things seem very apparent about the Epstein files: 1) This is 100x deeper than I thought and he was incredibly persistent on getting everyone. 2) Maybe the public can’t actually handle the truth.
