But the point is: we're increasingly giving more and more power to the most immature and reckless among us to just do whatever they want with the digital world. A world we are dependent upon. That is an unsustainable situation for civilization.

I can only fear the point of this is to instigate martial law by goading civilians into an open combat situation and therefor justifying no elections and worse. Canadians are very underrated we just had a long stretch of bad leadership. When I was a teenager Vancouver had a devastating city wide riot with burning cop cars and stuff (i think because of hockey) and in the morning the rioters got up early and cleaned it up
