People are finally realizing that Polygon is and has always been more Ethereum aligned than most "L2s". Vitalik nailed it that Ethereum itself needs to scale as general purpose decentralized compute while others find their niche. Polygon is already fully focused on payments.

Should EIP1559 base fee be burned or distributed to stakers? Burning it reduces the supply for everyone, effectively increasing value of all ETH. Giving it to stakers increases value of all staked ETH, incentivizing more staking which in-turn can further increase ETH value.
