Salesforce is thinking outside the box and calling this new category of software “unsoftware.” The next generation of agentic computing won’t be just another box — not another sandbox, not another cloud service. It has to be designed completely outside the box.

SXSW has been a lucky place for me — so many serendipitous moments over the years. A little sad to see the event feeling a bit faded this year.

Maybe the real AI startup idea isn’t another wrapper. It’s building a Posterous for AI — a simple interface that lets normal people access something previously only experts could use.

Interesting pattern in tech adoption: new paradigms often break out through old interfaces. Posterous: email → blogging Telegram bots: chat → AI agents @garrytan What’s your take?

Been experimenting a lot with agentic memory architectures lately. The more I experiment with AI agents, the more convinced I am that memory is the real unsolved systems problem. Lots of noise in the space right now. But it’s starting to feel tractable.
