‘Birds’ by @nicedayJules and @mungimungimungi debut with a livestream and physical event in Los Angeles.
The “installation for the internet” features 100 unique Birds navigating a network including Sanctuary artworks that all Birds can visit, Home artworks with 1:1 relationships to Birds, and Observation artworks, open editions that capture Birds in specific moments.
Five Sanctuary acquisitions are announced:
- ‘Caroline’s Meadow’ to @tadtweets and Caroline Fitzgibbons
- ‘The Last Light’ to @Rhynotic
- ‘In the Tangle’ to @randytlittle
- ‘Where Water Meets Sun’ to @Blondie23LMD
- ‘A Place Between’ to @MaryPatBing and @NedRyersonBing
One hundred Bird Homes sell out for 1.5 ETH each via presale (75) and public release (25), across 74 collectors including the @opensea Flagship Collection, @RaoulGMI, @toadswiback, and more. Secondary has seen five sales of 3.33, 2.7, 2.5, 2.5 ETH and 2 WETH, with current list at 4.2 ETH.
Thus far more than 2,700 ‘Bird Observations’ have been made and remain open for $1 USD each. Collector @gmspace_ announces the completion of a quest to observe all 100 Birds.
