BTC back above $70K and sentiment has already flipped back into FOMO. The trigger: softer war expectations, Trump signaling the conflict may cool, and oil reversing lower. Macro stress eases → risk appetite returns. That’s the regime we’re in.

Bitcoin is starting to reclaim relative strength. Since February 24, BTC has outperformed both the S&P 500 and gold, rebounding back to $71.7K. Part of this is simple mean reversion. Crypto had lagged traditional markets for months. Now capital is rotating back.

Weekend macro reminder: Oil spikes to $115 as Middle East tensions escalate. Bitcoin drops to $65.6K within hours. Then oil cools back toward $100. Bitcoin rebounds to $69K.

1/ Incredible Friday. Trump says there will be no deal with Iran except “unconditional surrender.” Oil ripped higher, and markets immediately priced in more geopolitical risk. Add in weak U.S. jobs data, and the setup is clear: macro uncertainty is rising, not falling.
