👏 absolutely not enough people are talking about the fact that, since bitcoin and eth bottomed last night at $60k and $1750, Trend Research has sold 350k ETH. That's roughly $700,000,000. Just in the last ~16 hours! Not during the selloff all day yesterday, but afterwards. And the ratio didn't budge. ETH is showing incredible strength right now in the face of insane capitulation.

The hardest part of this industry is how it so consistently punishes its most faithful supporters. Everyone here loves crypto so much. And the more someone loves it, the more exposed they are. And the more exposed they are, the more punishment they take. It's a sick cycle.

If you're into bottom signals (and I'm *not* saying we've bottomed), here's the only credible one I've found thus far. Since Sunday night, eth/btc ratio is flat. And that's in spite of Trend Research and GarrettBullish selling hundreds of millions of ETH. Which means, people are *really* mass exiting bitcoin at an extremely accelerated pace.

My tldr on the Vitalik stuff was: Make your L2 differentiated and useful because we're actively scaling the L1 and your L2 won't matter if you're just a little cheaper, but undifferentiated, and have a 1 week bridge to the main chain. L1 will always be the canonical source of trust and truth, you have to bring something that builds on that and is differentiated and useful and has pmf. That's it. Go nuts. This is the way institutions are building on and with Ethereum.
