I’m surprised that no one is talking about the fact that Stani bought $10M of AAVE, claimed it was bc he is aligned with the token yet in actual fact it was to increase his voting power in anticipation to vote for a proposal directly against the token holders best interests This is a clear example of tokens not being equiped to adequately disincentivise governance attacks VE has its flaws but would he have been willing to lock for 4 years? I bet @AaveChan would

Firstly, i didnt make any statements, just posed a question. To answer yours, the loyalty system is not in any way tied to a token - nor was it designed for it. Through all the initiatives in ‘24 we funnelled $4.5M to users as incentives for exploration + most of the protocols
