Codex released an epic update last night, offering a dramatically improved experience! The addition of contextualized screenshots and advanced built-in browser annotations is incredibly useful. Simply hold down both the left and right Command keys simultaneously, and it will capture the entire window where your mouse is currently positioned, automatically filling it into Codex's input fields. This screenshot doesn't just show the current window; it also adds any text not currently displayed on the screen to the context field. The /goal feature is now officially available in the Codex App. This feature is even more powerful; you simply give it a goal, and it will execute until the task is completed. This process can take hours or even days. Furthermore, you can: change its goal and guidance at any time, pause it, and resume execution when needed. If this option doesn't appear after pressing the forward slash command, you need to modify the command in its config file to enable it. The specific method is: enable `goals = true` in `config.toml`. The in-app browser also becomes very fast and smooth. It has an advanced commenting mode that allows you to modify elements while commenting on them, and even edit them directly. This is amazing! For example, after using my PPT Skills, if you think the text is too small or the text is incorrect, you can edit the text directly without having Codex edit it for you. Another feature is team-sharing plugins.
