i like this hypothesis. all stablecoin yield ends up on metaDEX as lp incentives, fee rebates, better execution.

There really is no steelman, I’ve spent endless time thinking about it. The yield will eventually get distributed at the 2nd (distributors like Coinbase Earn) or 3rd layer (blue chip DeFi like Aave incentives). GENIUS banned 1st layer (issuer incentives) but not 2nd. Now banks

Today’s inflation data (PPI) came in hotter than expected. 3.0% vs 2.7% exp CPI = what consumers are feeling now PPI = what might flow through later Markets care more about CPI first, PPI second CPI from yesterday was positive for crypto (cooling inflation). PPI today was negative for crypto (hotter inflation) So we should see the PPI add short term noise but not a trend reversal.
