Left vs Right is an outdated take in 2026 Global powers now split in authoritarian/centralized vs democratic/decentralized. Is it all up to one person or are authorities decentralized? Does rule of law count? Do legal agreements count? Is corruption tolerated? Is crime forgiven is political aligned? Do they want to reduce individual rights or increase them? Are elections tempered with? Are press and comms platforms owned by crownies or free? "Left vs Right" is used to win elections. "Auth vs Democratic" is what will really matter globally.
