I don't know if it was luck or laziness, but most of my money was in USD1 and hadn't been touched much, so I escaped this Drift theft. I hope everyone else is okay too, considering the huge amount stolen. I also suggest everyone consolidate their funds from smaller on-chain protocols whenever possible. Don't be lazy. Binance offers up to 6.5% annualized yield on USD1, and it's safe. Honestly, in this market, there's really nowhere better than here. At least you won't lose sleep over it or worry about being hacked every day. Many people are depositing their savings in vaults now because of the high APY, but the underlying assets might be very risky. Many people don't pay attention to this, so everyone should be careful. If you're worried, do what I did and just put your USD1 in Binance and go about your business as usual.
