$NPC was born as a meme of the internet — a collective joke, a cultural mirror, a symbol that spread because everyone participated.
Trying to lock that inside an IP filing? That’s not culture. That’s captivity.
So we’re taking the opposite path:
We intend to release our original NPC design under a CC0 public-domain license.
Yes — the version we created, we evolved, and we pushed into modern meme culture. Instead of hoarding it behind lawyers and paperwork, we’re nuking the gate entirely.
CC0 means this:
No ownership games.
No paywalls.
No fake IP monopolies.
No “corporate rights” over what the internet built together.
Use it however you want — remix it, distort it, commercialize it, weaponize it for memes — it’s yours as much as it’s ours.
Because memes weren’t meant to be fenced in.
Because culture dies when captured.
Because the internet works best when nobody “owns” the punchline.
Our design will be CC0 — free to use, free to build on, free forever.
The IP bullshit ends here. Culture wins.
Formal CC0 release and details coming soon.
