🏦 Banks vs. Stablecoins: The "Trojan Horse" is Here
The traditional system has finally given in. The Clarity Act is one step away from being passed on [2024111120230], and the underlying issue is pure "Alpha":
❌ The conflict: Banks were panicked. They didn't want stablecoins to offer returns (staking/savings) because they know no one would leave their money earning 0.01% in a traditional account if they could have digital dollars earning on-chain.
✅ The forced "peace": The new agreement unlocks the law in exchange for regulating those returns. Banks accept the competition in exchange for rules that prevent a massive flight of deposits.
🛡️ The Trojan Horse: Even if they try to regulate it, the door has already been opened. Once stablecoins have a full legal framework, the banking system will have integrated its own "obsolescence." Users will no longer need bank permission to move their capital; the dollar is now code.
Regulation isn't meant to hold us back, it's meant to make us inevitable. 🚀
