We can't consider things from Iran's perspective; we need to look at the decision-makers—the "charlatans."
No matter what these charlatans do now, they're still "decapitation" targets.
For them, wealth, women, power—all vanish in a missile strike. Unless they're spared, their actions, regardless of what facilities Trump plans to bomb in retaliation, will continue.
Generally, pre-war preparations for a swift victory fail, and if that doesn't happen quickly, and they start escalating, the process is never smooth.
And these charlatans will never change; if they don't pay the costs today, they'll pay them in the future.
