A big difference between MegaETH and Monad is that MegaETH is just hyperfocused on USDM and evangelizing their ecosystem. I'm not entirely sure what Monad is focused on. At first it was trading but now it seems like they're moving in 10 directions at once. x.com/smolgeeek/stat…

the thing is that if zcash "succeeds" here it will have the limit of being "just" a peer to peer store of value while if it chases the vision of Ethereum, it will be the private backbone of the internet for finance @aztecnetwork, @namada and @AleoHQ are doing that.
